Independent Women have provided general investment advice and services to me for more years than I care to remember - but if I asked them, I know they could tell me, immediately, how long it has been. They have always provided unbiased, professional advice in a relaxed, unpressurised environment. More recently they have taken me through the intricacies of retirement. As always, any questions are explained in a manner to ensure my understanding. I always leave meetings knowing that if I have subsequent questions, I will receive a prompt response by e-mail. Financial advice can be a somewhat dry, serious subject; I always enjoy my meetings with Lesley. I have no hesitation in recommending Independent Women.

Baillie Gifford must have some good investors as their portfolios have performed well, but there customer service is poor. There is a limited amount you can do with their website, all transfers are to be done via signed letter via post (old fashioned) and when you speak to their representatives they have limited knowledge on the phone. A good trust, but huge improvements are there be made with the customer services.
